Captains Clint and Kyle delivered the most professional and well-organized private charter I’ve ever experienced. Their passion for fishing is obvious, and they make sure everyone on board has a great time. Fun, personable, and always with a clear game plan, they’re flexible and make adjustments on the fly to ensure your group has an unforgettable experience. Kudos to both for keeping charter fishing alive and thriving in Cape May!

Captains Clint and Kyle are friendly, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. They offered great tips on selecting the best lures and poles for the fish we were targeting that day. None of us—all five of us—are experienced anglers, but this trip brought us together, and we can’t wait to do it again. Thank you, Captain, for filleting all our catch! The boat is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed the snacks. We’ll definitely be looking forward to fishing with you and your crew on our next visit!

apt. Clint and Mate Kyle made sure my wife—her first time saltwater fishing and a recent liver transplant—and I had an amazing trip. We caught plenty of fish trolling and bottom fishing. Clint knows exactly where to find them, and Kyle is right there, making sure everything is ready when you need it. My wife even got to see dolphins, just like she hoped! The Common Sense is a big, clean, and well-maintained boat—smooth, stable, and very comfortable. We will definitely book another trip with Clint and Kyle. Thank you both for an unforgettable and much-appreciated day on the water!

Took an inshore trip with my twin sister, and the black sea bass were biting non-stop—doubles more often than singles! Kyle was on point the entire time, making sure we were set up and taken care of. The captain knew exactly where to go and kept us on the bite by moving when needed. We had an incredible experience and would absolutely book with Common Sense again. This crew made it one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever had. Truly top-notch!
